POWERING SPORTS PERFORMANCE
Recently, we announced a new naming rights agreement and unveiled the new logo for our sports performance center — Miller Electric Center. Miller Electric CEO Henry Brown, Jaguars Owner Shad Khan, Head Coach Doug Pederson, and Mayor Lenny Curry thanked our hardworking construction site workers with a local Bono’s BBQ lunch and Miller Electric Center custom footballs..

CLOSING TIME
In May, the Shipyards, including the Four Seasons Hotel Jacksonville, received final Downtown Design Review Board approval. On June 10, we closed on the land. We look forward to continuing our progress.
THE NEW CONSTRUCTION CREW
We’ve celebrated our first two graduating classes of Construction Ready students since the program launched this spring. After completing the free 20-day training program, students earned eight industry certifications and a full-time, entry-level construction position at local companies including CT Mechanical, HB Next, Miller Electric, Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors, Haskell, Building Talent Foundation, England Thims Miller, and TT Marine & Industrial. Our long-term plan is for graduates to work on the eventual Stadium of the Future. We are recruiting for our next class which runs July 5-29. Onboarding begins June 29.
