1st DownTown Jacksonville is a platform we created to help communicate, advocate and unite supporters who share the same vision and enthusiasm we have for downtown.

1st DownTown Jacksonville provides a place where you can stay abreast of our latest news and plans for Downtown Jacksonville, including development of the Jacksonville Shipyards, a path toward the Stadium of the Future and community investment by the Jaguars and Iguana Investments, their affiliate real estate and development entity, to uplift downtown and its surrounding neighborhoods.

These projects will increase jobs and tourism revenue, boost the number of residents living downtown, activate the St. Johns River along the downtown Riverfront, help build a destination economy, facilitate public engagement, and solidify Jacksonville as the Hometown of the Jaguars and the future site of a Super Bowl Parade.

Public parks, an expanded Northbank Riverwalk and access to the St. Johns River including restoration of Met Park and a modernized city-owned marina

Medical tourism through creation of a world-class center for orthopedic excellence.

First steps toward delivering the Stadium of the Future by building a state-of-the-art football performance facility: Miller Electric Center.

The first five-star hotel in Jacksonville – the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences – to attract professional and leisure travelers and also increase the number of downtown residents.
