RIVERFRONT APPROVAL

This month we received approval from the Downtown Design Review Board (DDRB) on the marina support building, event lawn and Riverwalk at the Shipyards. The redevelopment of the riverfront takes an even greater shape toward the future of entertainment and recreation in downtown Jacksonville.

PARKS & REC

This month, Denver-based Civitas was selected by the City of Jacksonville’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department to oversee Metropolitan Park’s design work. The organization solicited feedback on redesign recommendations of the park from the public. Met Park borders the Shipyards site to the east and the Jaguars have committed a $4 million investment over 20 years to maintaining the 19 acre park.
