Jacksonville Jaguars President Mark Lamping says the team and the city’s alignment on Downtown development “speaks volumes for the future.”
That project will include a five-star hotel with at least 170 rooms; at least 23 Class A condominium units; at least 9,500 square feet of meeting space and at least 37,000 square feet devoted to restaurants and bar space.
On Wednesday, the City Council unanimously approved Shad Khan’s plans to develop the shipyards. Then on Thursday, The Downtown Development Review Board approved the design of the Jags’ Sports Performance Center.
