MILLER ELECTRIC CENTER OPENS & TRAINING CAMP BEGINS

On July 18, the Jacksonville Jaguars and City of Jacksonville celebrated the grand opening of Miller Electric Center, the 125,000-square-foot facility that will serve as the new home to the team’s football operations. Jaguars owner Shad Khan was joined by Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan for an official ribbon cutting ceremony and media tour.

“Today is another example of vision becoming reality in Jacksonville,” said Khan. “But what makes this particularly gratifying is the vision certainly wasn’t mine alone. Our community, our city leadership, our football team and Miller Electric – everyone had the same vision and belief that we can do amazing things in Jacksonville. The best is still to come!”

A week later, July 26 marked the first day of training camp and the return of fans to watch as the team prepares for the upcoming season. With shade, oversized overhead fans for air circulation, chairback seats, and concessions, plus a team store and indoor restroom facilities, fans can enjoy an upgraded training camp experience at the new facility.
